Carrier Oils

Carrier Oils act as emollients and occlusives to add and lock in moisture. Rich in fatty acids, antioxidants, and tons of other good stuff, oils also nourish skin. Oils with small molecular structures can easily penetrate the skin, facilitating faster absorption which means a less "greasy" feel. Learn more about the individual oils we use below.

Apricot Kernal Oil



Argon Oil

From the kernels of the fruit of the Argon tree, is loaded with fatty acids (linoleic & oleic), vitamin E & other antioxidants and is non- comedogenic. Properties: anti- inflammatory, antibacterial,  fungicidal & sebum balancing. It is lightweight and non-greasy, ideal for use on the face, for all skin types.  Mild nutty scent.


Arnica Oil

Extracted from the Arnica flower, this oil is non-comedogenic and rich in antioxidants. Properties: powerful anti-inflammatory, and  healing agent (known for helping reduce swelling, muscle soreness, and bruising). Ideal for soothing salves and balms and all skin types.  Piney scent.


Avocado Oil

Cold-pressed from avocado fruit, this nutrient-rich oil is packed with vitamins A, D, and E, along with essential fatty acids. With anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties for the skin. Known as “beard food” it also strengthens hair follicles, helps prevent dryness and split ends, and adds shine.  This is a heavier oil, moderately rated as a 3 on the comedogenic scale. Used in conjunction with lighter oils, it amazing for use in beard products.  Light buttery scent, with a mild nuttiness.


Castor Oil

Cold-pressed from castor beans, this oil is rich in ricinoleic acid and essential fatty acids. Properties: deeply moisturizing, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial. Known for promoting hair growth, reducing dryness, and soothing skin irritations. Ideal for dry, damaged skin and hair. Thick consistency with a mild, earthy scent. It provides a protective coating for facial hair, while also aiding the absorption of other ingredients, making it amazing in beard oil when used in conjunction with lightweight oils.


Coconut Oil (and Fractionated Coconut Oil)

Extracted from the flesh of coconuts, this oil is rich in medium-chain fatty acids and antioxidants. Properties: deeply moisturizing, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory. Known for soothing dry skin, promoting skin healing, and strengthening hair. Light, tropical scent. Enhances spreadability and skin penetration. It is rated high on the comedogenic scale, and is not ideal for acne prone skin. It is best suited for use in scrubs, body creams and lip products.


Grapeseed oil

Extracted from grape seeds, this light, non-comedogenic oil is rich in antioxidants and linoleic acid. Properties: moisturizing, anti-inflammatory, and astringent. Known for balancing skin oil production, tightening pores, and promoting a smooth complexion. Lightweight and ideal for oily or acne-prone skin and in lip products. Mild, neutral scent.


Hemp Seed Oil

Cold-pressed from hemp seeds, this oil is rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, as well as antioxidants. Properties: deeply moisturizing, anti-inflammatory, and balancing. Known for soothing dry, irritated skin, regulating oil production, and promoting healthy skin and hair. Ideal for sensitive, acne-prone skin and dry hair. Earthy, mild scent.


Jojoba oil

Liquid humectant compound extracted from the seeds of the jojoba plant.  Rich in vitamins B, E other antioxidants, & essential fatty acids. Properties: antibacterial & non-comedogenic. Known to mimic the natural oils produced by human skin.  Lightweight and quickly absorbed, it’s ideal for most any application.

Rosehip Seed Oil

Cold-pressed from the seeds of rose hips, this oil is rich in vitamins A, C, and essential fatty acids. Properties: nourishing, anti-aging, and regenerative. Known for reducing the appearance of scars, fine lines, and hyperpigmentation while promoting skin elasticity. Ideal for mature, dry, or damaged skin. Light, slightly floral scent.


Safflower Oil

Extracted from the seeds of the safflower plant, this oil is rich in linoleic acid and vitamin E. Properties: lightweight, moisturizing, and anti-inflammatory. Known for promoting skin hydration, improving skin texture, and balancing oil production. Ideal for oily, acne-prone, or sensitive skin. Neutral scent.


Sweet Almond Oil

Extracted from almond kernels, this oil is rich in vitamins A, E, and fatty acids. Properties: deeply moisturizing, soothing, and anti-inflammatory. Known for improving skin tone, reducing irritation, and promoting soft, smooth skin. Ideal for dry, sensitive skin and massage oils. Light, nutty scent.
