Capturing the Beauty
of Natural
We believe in the wisdom of nature and embracing the simple joys of self-care. I believe people should know what they are putting on their bodies - from how it's made, to what is put in it. Our skin care products are all handcrafted. I choose ingredients known for their beneficial properties - many that have been in use for centuries. With the goal of transparency, information for all ingredients that may be found in our body products, along with commonly accepted properties of each, and details on our process, are provided in the resources below.
Our Process

Formulated from scratch
There are no white glove pre-made products. I build every formulation - through countless hours of research and dozens of tests. I know my ingredients - ask me. My friends will tell you I can't shut up about it.

Purposeful sourcing
Every ingredient I choose is done so with intention. I don't use fillers or cut corners. I strive for natural - and safe. I want to ensure that what goes into my products is clean, authentic, and genuinely beneficial.

Small batches. Freshly crafted
For really real. There is no mass production over here. With few exceptions, most products are made in batches of 5-10 bottles. It means that I am constantly in production - and that the ingredients I use are consistently fresh.
Our Ingredients

Carrier Oils
Carrier Oils act as emollients and occlusives to add and lock in moisture. Rich in fatty acids, antioxidants, and tons of other good stuff, oils also nourish skin. Oils with small molecular structures can easily penetrate the skin, facilitating faster absorption which means a less "greasy" feel. Learn more about the individual oils we use below.

Essential Oils
Most people associate essential oils with aromatherapy, but they go far beyond that. They are multifunctional, concentrated, natural plant extracts, packed with natural compounds, each offering unique benefits. Some provide deep hydration, others offer antibacterial and antimicrobial properties, while others help promote circulation. Learn more about the Essential Oils we use below (be aware- there's a lot!)
Moisturize VS Hydrate
Hydration refers to the process of drawing water into the skin, either from the environment or deeper skin layers.
Moisturizing refers to sealing in the water that has already been absorbed.
Fatty acids
An important part of skin structure and health. Omega-3s and omega-6s, are particularly beneficial. They help hold in moisture, offer protection from allergens, irritants, and UV-induced photo damage. They are also anti-inflammatory and antibacterial. They help make the skin feel softer, smoother and improve elasticity.
Emollient
Agents that smooth and soften skin.
Comedogenic Scale
A system that measures how likely an ingredient is to clog pores. The scale ranges from 0 to 5, with 5 being highly comedogenic. It’s recommended to use ingredients with lower rankings on the face, especially for those with sensitive and acne prone skin.
Occlusives
Moisturizing agents that work by forming a protective layer on the surface of the skin and create a barrier to prevent moisture loss.
Antioxidant
Compounds that protect skin cells from free radical damage, help defend against UV radiation and environmental stressors, reduce inflammation, boost hydration, and support collagen and elastin production.
Humectant
Attract water, adding hydration to the skin.
