Essential Oils

Most people associate essential oils with aromatherapy, but they go far beyond that. They are multifunctional, concentrated, natural plant extracts, packed with natural compounds, each offering unique benefits. Some provide deep hydration, others offer antibacterial and antimicrobial properties, while others help promote circulation. Learn more about the Essential Oils we use below (be aware- there's a lot!)

Extracted from peppercorns, this oil is rich in antioxidants. Properties: stimulating, anti-inflammatory, and detoxifying. It is also great in muscle rubs.  Warm, almost fruity and lightly spicy scent.


Blood Orange


Extracted from the wood of the camphor tree, this oil is known for its cooling, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties. It is known for helping soothe muscle aches and , reducing redness, and supporting clear skin. Ideal for balms, salves, and respiratory blends. Strong, medicinal, and woody scent.

Chamomille (Roman)

  • Steam-distilled from cedar trees, this grounding oil is rich in anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. It is know to help soothe irritated skin, balance oil production, and promote hair and scalp health. Ideal for calming blends, and in formulas designed for hair growth, as it encourages circulation to hair follicles.  It’s oil balancing properties also make it compatible for use in formulas to reduce dandruff and flakiness. Warm, rich, and woody scent.
